What to eat
Banh mi is a French baguette sandwich, traditionally filled with grilled pork, pate, cilantro, and pickled carrots. Pho (say: fur) is a beef broth noodle soup and you can order it with different cuts of beef, including tripe or meatballs. Spring rolls, fresh or fried round out the top dishes.

 

Don't miss out on other delicious options such as chargrilled pork with rice or vermicelli bun (say: boon), or the beef stew with carrots. You can also eat a family-style meal in which case, try the claypot dishes or wok seared shaken beef. End the meal with a cup of iced coffee. Vietnamese coffee beans are roasted in clarified butter and served with condensed milk.
